What is CAFA?

All day today, we’ve heard that question echoing round the corridors of SCIL as the Southampton CAFA overview group was launched.

More than sixty people attended the successful launch which is looking at how people can collect, share, and update information in a more efficient way. It is however about YOU having the power to choose  by whom, when and where your information is shared.

The CAFA (Common Assessment Framework for Adults) project has been run in Hampshire for the last 2 years and in its new phase, includes Southampton and Portsmouth. The Southampton overview group, facilitated by SCIL, will ensure all the CAFA developments are coproduced with service users, carers, and citizens at last.

Saq Yasin explains more in this short video, filmed at the conference earlier today.
