Increase in National Minimum Wage

As many readers of the blog employ their own personal assistants we will try and keep you up to date with employment law that may be of interest. 

The National Minimum Wage is increasing from October 2006. The minimum wage for workers aged 22 or over will rise from £5.05 to £5.35 per hour. The rate for 18-21 year olds will rise from £4.25 to £4.45 per hour.
